A closer look at Pocket
- Design: Precision-milled aluminum, seamless unibody.
- Side button: Hold for 5 Seconds for Power on/off; press once to start/stop recording.
- Slider button:
- Up - Call mode: Records phone calls via contact mic; no speaker mode needed. Keep Pocket attached to your phone using Magsafe during the call.
- Slider Up (Call mode):
- Down — Conversation mode: Slider down for in-person conversations.
- After a call: Stop the recording, then slide Down to Conversation. (Call mode’s contact mic is ultra-sensitive and can pick up surface noise if left on.)
The Quick Start Manual (with QR)
The manual includes:
- A labeled diagram of Pocket’s button and light
- A QR code linking to all setup videos (including this one)
- A short Day 1 guide so you can start capturing right away
💡 Tip: Keep the card in the box or save a photo of the QR for later.
USB-C charging cable
A durable, braided USB-C to USB-C cable is included.
- Use any standard USB-C power adapter
- If Pocket doesn’t turn on right away, give it 10 minutes of charge and try again
Magnetic ring adapter (for non-MagSafe phones)
If your phone doesn’t have built-in MagSafe:
- Clean the back of your phone or case
- Center the ring using your camera as a guide
- Adhere the ring and press firmly for a few seconds
- Pocket now snaps into place magnetically
